At Agra, a shift in the venue of the exhibition from Cantt to Idgah railway station, created confusion among the visitors. However, SECAS team made special arrangements for diverting the visitors to the exact venue.

During its three day halt at Agra, SECAS registered more than 55,000 visitors, including over 13,000 students form 125 educational institutions of Agra and adjoining areas. Agra also turned out to be a landmark station in the journey of SECAS as it crossed 6 lakh total visitors’ mark and 3 lakh general visitors’ mark. Besides, Science Express cumulative of all the phases  also (Phase I-VIII) crossed 1.39 crore total visitors mark.

On the last day of the exhibition at Agra, SECAS team celebrated National Energy Conservation Day (14 December) by organizing different events for students at the platform. Besides, different competitions like ‘Design your Logo’, ‘Quiz’ and ‘Poster Making’ on the theme ‘Energy Conservation’ was also organized for the students in which the winners were also felicitated by SECAS team.

At Agra, SECAS team got an opportunity to interact with Dr. Vandana Singh Sridhar, Scientist D, KIRAN, DST, Govt. of India. She not just appreciated the efforts of the team but also talked about KIRAN and other women scientist programmes of DST. Additionally, Mr. Prabhas Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Agra Division, Brigadier V. Saini, Para Battalion, Agra, and Mr. S.S. Maheshwari, IPS, IGP (Retd.) visited SECAS along with their family members, and appreciated the efforts of the on-board team.

After a successful three-day halt at Agra, the SECAS team once again packed up and made preparations for their departure to the next station- Shivpuri in Madhya Pradesh.
