 From Punjab, SECAS moved to the state of Haryana with Ambala Cantt., as its next station. It was welcomed by Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Ambala Cantt., along with other senior officials from the Railways.

Activities at Platform

The During its four day halt at Ambala Cantt., SECAS received over 13,900 total visitors, which also included around 5,000 students from 55 different schools and colleges of Ambala and adjoining areas. A group of hearing-impaired students from B. S. Memorial School and National School for the Handicapped visited SECAS and the team took special care in explaining the exhibits to them with the help of their teachers. In addition to the exhibition, the students and children also enthusiastically participated in the complementary activities of SECAS in Kids Zone, Joy of Science Lab and at the Platform.

At Ambala Cantt., SECAS crossed 1.8 lakh total visitors and 95,000 general visitors’ mark, in the current phase till date. It also crossed over 500 school and college visit. Besides, Platform Activity crossed 15,000 students’ participation, in the current phase till date. Joy of Science Lab crossed 3.5 lakh students’ participation cumulative of all the phases of Science Express, till date.

At the end of the fourth day of the exhibition, the SECAS once again packed up and made preparation for their departure the next station- Amb Andaura in Himachal Pradesh.
