Platform Activity

During its four-day halt at Ambika Kalna, SECAS received an overwhelming response by registering over 64,000 visitors. Students from 52 different educational institutions of Ambika Kalna and adjoining areas visited the exhibition and also enthusiastically participated in the complementary activities conducted in Kids Zone, JOS Lab and at the Platform. Additionally, SECAS team also conducted Outreach Activity at Tehatta High School, Kalna, Burdwan.

Ambika Kalna also turned out to be a landmark station with SECAS crossing 5.5 lakh general visitor’s mark, 80,000 students’ participation in Platform Activity and 30,000 children’s participation in Kids Zone, in the current phase till date.

After a successful four- day halt at Ambika Kalna, the team once again packed up and made preparations for their journey to the next station – Barrackpore in West Bengal.
