Platform Activity on Hand print

On the very first day of the exhibition at Digha, SECAS team celebrated the successful completion of 100 days of SECAS exhibition by organizing different events at the platform like – ‘Quiz competition’, ‘Hand-print Action’, ‘Booth for convenient actions’, ‘Media and Photo gallery of SECAS journey so far’ etc. The students enthusiastically participated in these activities.

Altogether during its two-day exhibition at Digha, SECAS received over 30,000 visitors. Apart from the exhibition, students also participated in JOS Lab, Kids Zone and Platform Activities. On the last day of its halt, students from 102 schools/colleges visited SECAS, which turned out to be the second highest in the current phase. Besides, on the same day, SECAS crossed 11 lakh total visitors’ mark and the Kids Zone also registered highest number of children (1,280) in the current phase, till date.

At Digha, Dr. Anil Mohapatra, Scientist, Zoological Survey of India and Mr. S. S .Ghosh, District Science Officer, visited SECAS and shared their experiences with Science Communicators.

Teams from CEE, Kolkata, extended their support for smooth coordination of SECAS activities at Digha Railway station.

After a successful two-day halt at Digha, the team once again packed up and made preparations for their journey to the next station – Jharsuguda in Odisha.
