From Barrackpore SECAS next moved to Jhargram. It was welcomed by Pr. Atmahridaya from Sri Ramakrishna Sarada Peeth Kanya Gurukul, Jhargarm. During the day, Mr. Shivaraddu Malla Dey, Chairmen Municipal corporation, Paschim Medanapur and SDO, Jhargram, also visited SECAS and appreciated the efforts of the onboard team.

During its three-day halt at Jhrgram, SECAS received over 55,000 visitors including students from over 60 different schools and colleges of Jhragram and adjoining areas. On the last day of the halt, more than 25,000 visitors came to see the exhibition. Additionally, the complementary activities of SECAS in JOS Lab, Kids Zone and also at the Platform received very good participation.

At Jhargarm, Mr. Ajit Singh Yadav, IPS, Addl. SP, Jhargarm, Mr. Paras Nath, Commandant, 184 BN CRPF, Jhargarm, Mr. Shambhu Kumar, Second in Command, CRPF, Jhargarm & Dr. P. K. Suman, SMD, 184 BN, Jhargarm, visited SECAS and also appreciated the efforts of the on-board team.

Teams from CEE, Kolkata, Jhargram Tourism and Raj College extended their support for smooth coordination of SECAS activities at Jhargarm Railway station.

After a successful three-day halt at Jhargram, the team once again packed up and made preparations for their journey to the next station – Digha in West Bengal.
