During its four-day halt at Pathankot, SECAS received an overwhelming response. Altogether in four days, over 60,000 visitors came to see the exhibition, the highest for any station, till date, in the current phase. On the last day of the exhibition at Pathankot, SECAS registered a total of 24,566 visitors – the highest in a single day, in the current phase. Besides, on this day, students from 94 different schools and colleges visited SECAS, which again remains the highest in a single day, in the current phase, till date.

The complementary activities of SECAS in Kids Zone and JOS Lab also received very good participation. Inspite of the absence of a suitable platform, SECAS team conducted Platform Activities smoothly and also received support from resource persons from Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Chandigarh. To carry forward the message of SECAS, the team conducted an Outreach Activity at Pratap World School, Pathankot, in which over 400 students participated. It was highly appreciated by the participants.

On 26 November, the SECAS team also celebrated the ‘National Milk Day’ by organizing different activities and competitions for students in JOS Lab, Kids Zone and at the Platform.

At Pathankot, SECAS crossed 3 lakh total visitors, 1,000 schools and 90,000 students’ mark. Even JOS Lab crossed 15,000 participants, for the current phase, till date. Additionally, Science Express, cumulative of all its phases (Phase I-VIII), also crossed 1.36 crore visitors.

After a successful four-day halt at Pathankot, SECAS team once again packed up and made preparations for their departure to the next station- Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh.
