From Hoshiarpur, SECAS moved to Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir. It was welcomed by Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta, Minister of State for Finance & R.T., Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir along with other officials from the Railways and the State Education Department.

The During its four-day halt at Udhampur, SECAS received over 22,000 total visitors which also included over 8,000 students from 92 different schools and colleges of Udhampur and adjoining areas. Students also enjoyed participating in the activities of Kids Zone, JOS Lab and at Platform. Additionally, SECAS team also conducted Outreach Activity at Everest Public School, Govt. Girls Middle School, Delhi Public School and Common Public School at Udhampur.

Some of the distinguished guests visiting SECAS at Udhampur included: Mr. Bali Bhagat, Hon’ble Minister for Social Welfare, Forests, Ecology and Environment, Govt. of J&K, Mr. Pawan Kumar Gupta, Hon’ble Minister for Finance & IT, Govt. of J&K, Mr. A. K. Singhal, Pr. Chief Conservation of Forests, Govt. of J&K, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary, Forest Environment& Ecology, Govt. of J&K, Mr. Om Prakash Vdyarthi, Director, Ecology, Environment and Remote Sensing, Govt. of J&K, Dr G. Mohiuddin Bhat, Dean, Head of Department & Chairman, GIAN Cell, University of Kashmir, Prof. Mahmood Ahmed Khan, Dean & Head, Faculty of Education and Ms. Mutuharra A. W. Deva, Nodal Officer, J&K Climate Change Cell, Department of Forest, Environment & Ecology, Govt. of J&K.

SECAS team was helped by members from National Innovation Foundation, Jammu & Kashmir wing as well as team from Centre for Environment Education (CEE), Jammu and Kashmir, in conducting the Platform and Outreach Activities at Udhampur. The officials from State Climate Change Cell, Department of Forest, Environment & Ecology also helped SECAS team in large scale publicity and advertisement of SECAS.

After a successful four-day halt at Udhampur, SECAS team once again packed up and made preparations for their departure to the next station - Samba in Jammu and Kashmir.
