The next halt for SECAS II was Amla. It was welcomed by Dr. Sandhya, Divisional Medical Officer, Nagpur. She visited the exhibition train and interacted and appreciated the efforts of the team.
SECAS II exhibition was scheduled for one day at Amla. It received good response from the students as well as general visitors. During the day, over 4,900 students from 36 different educational institutions visited SECAS II.
At Amla, JOS Lab, Kids Zone and Platform Activity received enthusiastic participation from students. As a part of Platform Activity, the on-board team conducted a session on Science Behind Miracles in which they demonstrated activities like ‘Turning Coconut Red from inside’, ‘Creating Holy Ash’, ‘Walking on Bed of Nails’, ‘Formation of Red Feet Impression on White Cloth’, ‘Magical Fire in a Yagna Kund’ etc. and explained the scientific principles behind them. It was well appreciated by all.
At Amla, Bharat Scout & Guides extended their voluntary support in co-ordination of different SECAS II activities
With this, the one-day halt of SECAS II at Amla came to an end, and the team packed up and made preparations for their departure to the next station – Betul in Madhya Pradesh.
